Learning Objective: Part I
The student will learn the status of changes to PPACA today, where coverage rules and regulations are currently, and where they will move to over the next few years. Details will be provided on changes to current law, with a focus on provisions that have already gone into effect, and certain reforms that will occur in 2014, including the individual purchase mandate, market reforms, and State Exchanges.
Learning Objectives: Part II
Continuing from Part 1 of this course, students will delve further in to PPACA, learning what types of coverage will meet minimum coverage requirements, what changes are in store for consumer directed health plans, what the rules are for employer sponsored coverage, and related tax changes and reporting requirements such as W-2 reporting.
